Since Zensah sent me some compression capris I thought I'd try them for my "Return to Running", if you can even call it that. They felt fantastic. They're not nearly as tight as compression socks -- thank god, because that would be intense. They'd probably feel great for recovery but I enjoyed them for running.
Ready for the foam roller...
They just look like cute capris. You can't even tell they're compression.
Focus on the capris, not my face, please.
Side Note: This picture answered all my questions about tendonitis
(properly spelled tendinitis, whatev).
Talk about major OVERpronation. Yikes!! The capris can't help with that, sorry.
Besides being cute and comfortable, these capris are made in Italy and are anti-bacterial and anti-odor. This is great for me because I get some serious butt sweat, or swass as we runners like to call it. These suckers are so popular I think they are currently out of stock so order now if you want them anytime soon. Here is a direct link to these capris.
I am planning on buying some compression calf sleeves for Chicago (if I am able to run). Please keep your fingers crossed and positive thoughts coming my way!! 13 days until the marathon and I will be devastated if I am on the sidelines and not running.
But on a positive note... I got into Boston!! Who else will be there? We'll have to put together a big blogger meet-up like everyone did this year. I can't wait to visit a new city and to experience Heartbreak Hill for myself.
