I had one of those incredible, knock-your-socks-off, could-run-forever runs. It was an 8 mile run on the treadmill, nonetheless. I watched some Grey's Anatomy and didn't want the run to end. The 7:30 pace felt so incredibly easy that I gained some confidence for this upcoming marathon. Marathons are quite different than 8 milers, obviously, but I can feel progress happening in my body. I feel stronger and I can tell I've gained some much needed endurance. I love this point in training when you can tell your tempo runs and long runs are paying off. This is usually the point in training where I get overzealous and end up injured. That is precisely why I forced myself off the treadmill at 8 miles. I wanted to run 10 but I know better. This is supposed to be a cut-back week, not a week to push myself further. I made Ang take my picture so I could remember this perfect run.

I seriously felt high on life after that run last night. AND I discovered these amazing band-aids that have completely saved my life, thanks to a suggestion by Lindsey. They're basically faux skin which is exactly what my toe needs.
|I bought the generic brand of band-aids and they're just as good.|
Besides my awesome run and the discovery of these magical band-aids, I was also super pumped to come home to Ang building this:
That's right! A massage/PT table. She will be practicing massage on me for the rest of this trimester and eventually I will have the pleasure of receiving FREE physical therapy. Can you imagine how great my life is going to be in 4 years when I can receive free in-home PT from Angela for every ache and pain? Life is looking up! I'm going to feel like Deena Kastor whose husband spends like an hour a day stretching her (except Ang would never do that).
I just spent $65 on The Clymb and saved $72! I like to focus on that second dollar amount. I love deals! I would have bought even more but they were running out of size smalls. I bought:
What are your Friday night plans?
Ang and I plan on going for a nice and easy trail run followed by some Thai take-out.
