Last week, I received a pretty little pink package from Ellie with a few items from their February collection. Regardless of the amount of workout clothes I already have, I was thrilled at having more! A girl can never have too many pairs of yoga pants, am I right?

My initial thoughts upon wearing my new outfit:
1.) This stuff is ridiculously soft and comfortable.
2.) My ass looks great in these pants!
I don't have skinny legs -- I have runner legs. I feel like these pants show off the muscle and accentuate the booty. A+ in the ass department.
Both the shirt and the pants are incredibly soft. I first wore this outfit to get a massage because I wanted to wear something really comfortable after my rub-down. Both items get an A+ for comfort!
What I love most about Ellie's clothing is that you can wear it on a run or to meet a friend for coffee. Some of my workout clothes are a tad too sporty to wear around town, but Ellie makes clothes that are flattering and stylish enough to wear out and about.
what this outfit looks like on a real model :)
From the March LBC (little black collection)
I need that top.
I need that top.
So, what makes Ellie different than say, Lululemon?
Ellie sells their clothes for regular price for anyone to buy AND they offer a membership program. For $50 a month you can choose ANY two pieces from that month's collection and they're shipped to you at no cost. Each piece costs between $35-$65, so 2 for $50 is a complete steal!
But what if you don't like anything from one of the collections or you can't afford the $50 on a particular month?
NO PROBLEM!
You can opt out within the first 7 days of the month and pass on the collection and the cost.
There really is no catch.
The clothing is high-quality, stylish, comfortable and offered to you at minimal cost. I can't remember the last time I spent only $50 and got 2 pieces of cute workout wear.
To make this deal even sweeter,
you can get 20% off if you sign up here.
Can you tell I love this sort of thing?
Happy shopping!
**Ellie did not compensate me for this post. They provided me with a free outfit but all opinions expressed are my own.

Those pants look fabulous on you!!
ReplyDeletePretty sure you could wear a paper bag and look fabulous, but...that outfit is adorable! Love that top, both the style and color. Sounds like a perfect match for you! (and is it ever cool enough in SoCal for tights??)
ReplyDeleteHah! I wish! But thank you.
DeleteI only need to wear tights at night when it's chilly and I walk my dog. :)
I agree with Amanda--You look great in anything kate!! :)
DeleteSo a person cannot buy their items without signing up for the monthly deal? Thats too bad. I totally love both those pants and top (especially the top) and went on over to buy at least the shirt, but no go.
ReplyDeleteAs a hard core Lulu fan, I was hoping to find something comparable but cheaper perhaps. Now I will never know :O(

Junie, you actually CAN buy anything if not a member. The membership just gets you the better deals. :) Did you shop the February collection for the top?
DeleteI'm a member, too! I am planning to order some leggings this month, and was thinking about going up a size--what do you think? Would that be a good idea?
ReplyDeleteI was actually shocked at how tiny the tights looked when I took them out of the packaging but they stretched and fit perfectly. You want that good squeeze so I would recommend buying your normal size.
DeleteYour last two posts have been HILARIOUS!:)
ReplyDeleteOoooh, I LOVE workout clothes and can never get enough of them, either! Since I'm currently staying at home with the kids (or working from home when I do work), I really can wear whatever I want. Of course, that means I am always in yoga pants and some sort of long-sleeve workout top. Every once in a while, I try to change into something "nicer" before my hubby gets home from work but then he doesn't even seem to notice...so I sometimes go right back upstairs and put the yoga pants back on. Ha!
ReplyDeleteI will have to check out Ellie. $50 for two pieces of clothing is awesome!
Ugh. I tried Ellie back when they were PVBody - if you're not a size 6, you're not their target customer. And the returns are brutal. I'm still waiting, a month later.
ReplyDeleteI find myself buying WAY MORE workout clothes the more i run! I want those pants!!!
ReplyDeleteThose are cute! And you have thin legs. I think runners legs are thin. Cyclists legs are big.
ReplyDeleteI agree A+ on your tush :) Thumbs up to Ellie!
ReplyDeleteMake sure you google the company and read about their customer service (or look it up on their facebook page) before you purchase. I read about it on another workout blog, and it sounded perfect, but it took the items over a month to arrive, even though my card had been charged immediately.
ReplyDeleteI really want to try them (clothes are adorable!), but am concerned about the same thing as Jessica above...i've read lots of cases like this. I'd love to hear if anyone else tries it. It could be something as simple as growing pains, since the company has grown so fast, and they can't staff up quickly enough. :)
ReplyDeleteI discovered your blog through Gabby's Gluten-Free, when she posted about the "perfect" lives we share on FB, Instagram, etc. I had such a fun time reading your related post!! I recently blogged about Ellie too, on my blog Healthy & Happy Hour, and am BEYOND jealous you snagged one of the Catch Me If You Can T's. By the time I changed my mind, they were sold out, and I had serious blogger's remorse. I'm really looking forward to reading and learning more from you!
